Won’t you be my neighbor?
Jack’s Station is a 40,000 square foot neighborhood shopping center on our Bloomfield Development in Pearl, MS. The site has direct visibility from I-20 which has an average daily traffic count of 108,000. Our site is directly across from a new Sam’s Club that is scheduled to open in June of this year. Elsewhere on the development, we have a 135,000 square foot Bass Pro Shops and a 5,000 seat baseball stadium, Trustmark Park, that is home to the Atlanta Braves AA Team, the MS Braves. Additionally, a new full service Holiday Inn and Alumni House Sports Grill opened in 2008 and is having better than expected success. Between the hotel, the stadium and Bass Pro, we had 2.3 million visitors on our site in 2008, and we expect to see a significant jump in the number of visits in 2009 with the opening of Sam’s Club. Jack’s Station will be built to LEED standards which translate into a more environmentally friendly shopping center and lower occupancy costs for our tenants.
